Unable to connect github copilot on marimo notebook

At a glance

A community member reported an "unable to connect" error with Copilot. After attempting to refresh and restart without success, it was discovered that the issue was related to installing marimo through conda. Another community member confirmed that installing through pip resolved the issue.

The solution, as confirmed in the official documentation, is that GitHub Copilot is not currently available in the conda distribution of marimo and requires a pip installation to function properly.
