script metadata not reading in edit mode

Question

Is script metadata intended to work in edit mode also? I don't think it is for me / i find that the ScriptConfigManager always has filename set to the dir where I start marimo from

Are you running “marimo edit” directly? it may only work if you are running “marimo edit nb.py”. We could support this when starting from the home
